  This role gave me the opportunity to manage and have full responsibility for a portfolio of 220 Agricultural and Horticultural Clients with complex lending needs of £30k-£300k under my lending mandate. This was an “on the road role” visiting clients at their homes and places of work. Understanding their Business needs and future aspirations enabled me to add value with advice and by providing tailored Working Capital Finance and a variety of Term Loan Facilities.   My current role as an Underwriter, involves liaising with Brokers and clients to manage, assess and underwrite Commercial mortgage applications. I manage a number of cases through all stages of the application process from initial Broker enquiry through to obtaining a mortgage offer, ensuring strict adherence to the Bank’s lending and valuation policy, and collaboration with the credit team.
