  Role involved costing of proposed water and wastewater developments on behalf of several major companies, and the reviewing and digitising of sewer survey data.In parallel with my assigned tasks I developed a system in VBA to automate many aspects of the costing process. The system was deployed to the team and increased throughput whilst reducing the number of calculation and transcription errors.

  Role involved:Use of new technologies and data analysis techniques to characterise products, resulting in improved quality control measures and the creation of valuable intellectual property. Worked as part of a team constructing a patent application, including evaluating the impact of prior art on the scope of the patent. Work undertaken both individually and in collaboration with external partners.Development, commissioning and launch of a new product under a multi-million euro sub-brand. Part of a multidisciplinary project team, requiring excellent communication, teamwork and adherence to challenging deadlines.Improvement of the data analysis and statistical techniques used during product development; results are generated faster and are more robust as a result, saving time and money.
