      Produced a Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) TV Talk Show in South Central Los Angeles dealing with Wholistic Health and Afrikan Cultural Affirmation to show that "Healing is Within Our Reach". Interviewed leading Afrikan Centered Scholars; Wholistic Health Practitioners; Artists and Community Activists, to name a few of the talented and interesting guests we hosted on the show.Produced three documentaries, The SANKOFA Study: Ethnobotanical Research Project on Medicinal Herbs of Tobago (2002); Toledo District Eco-Park: An Eco-Cultural Tour of Southern Belize (2005) and REGGAE MILITIS: The BIZness of Reggae Music (2010).       Sufia and her husband, Baba Seitu Amenwahsu run HeTePu Productions, a Non-Profit Arts & Cultural Education Organization that uses art as a teaching tool and provides Media Literacy Education to Columbia, SC area Students & Young Adults through their Oscar Micheaux Promising Young Filmmakers Program.From 2009 to 2013 they produced a small Indie Pan-Afrikan Film Festival, called REEL Black Pix: Global Afrikan Film Series, which was held during Black History Month in Columbia, South Carolina. It was a weekend Cultural & Arts Festival packed with Fun & Entertainment for the entire family that facilitated Cultrual Diversity. HeTePu Productions continues to provide Media Literacy Workshops, Consultations on various Health & Wellness Topics and produces Events that encourage authentic Inter-Generational & Inter-Cultural Dialogue, in order to build bridges that cross artificial boundaries and move us to expand our horizons.       At an early age, Sufia was chosen by her advisor Geats, who instructed her in the practice of Yoga & Meditation from the age of 17. At 22 she took her first formal Yoga Class at the University of California, Riverside and began a steady practice. In 1998, Sufia interviewed renown Yoga Instructor, Krishna Kaur. Krishna and Sufia, along with other LA area Yoga Teachers, Founded the International Association of Black Yoga Teachers (IABYT) and offered a Summer of Enlightenment Yoga Series at her place of employment. Sufia is a 2013 Graduate of the Sakhi Yoga Teacher's Certification Program. Most recently, in July 2016, Sufia traveled to Kemet/Egypt with Kemetic Yoga Master, Yirser Ra Hotep, where she was instructed in the principles & practices of Ancient Kemetic Postures that appear on the Pyramid walls.       In November 2018 Sufia Giza published a History book, Moundbuilders of Ancient America: A Legacy Reclaimed about her Amer-Indian Gullah-Geechee Heritage, which traces her family's ancestry back 8 generations. She combined 30 years of research, a lifetime of intuition and the latest DNA Technology to tell this untold story that intersects both Pre-Columbian and Colonial history of this land. She now specializes in genealogy and helping people find their Black Indigenous Roots.
