I used to collaborate with teams, such as Procurement, Demand Planners, Sales & Marketing teams, and other stakeholders in the S&OP process, to gather business insights and based on that, a 3-6 months rolling production plan was generated.As 90% of the raw materials were imported, so MRP played a vital role in the uninterrupted supply in the market. Collaborated with local and global supply chain team to improve supplier performance through RCCM.Organized optimal material requirements and inventory level by reviewing the Demand forecast and prepared production plans for monthly schedules that meet material availability and customer order lead time requirements.Reviewed and analysed demand data within the APO system to ensure changes are incorporated and ensured correct demand (OMP) is uploaded to the SAP system.Implemented integrated planning modules, EOQ, Safety Stock norms, and daily inventory monitoring, and thus optimized 4 Days on Inventory (DOI), releasing $3 million cash flow to the business.Initiated a shelf-life extension process for high-value raw materials by sending them to suppliers for revalidation, thus saving $56k from potential business waste (obsolete cost) in a year.
