  The project assigned to me was "Understanding of paint Universe application for maintenance purpose in various Indian atmosphere, to access true market potential for introducing zinc-rich paint investment in India. The internship started on 1ST April and ended on 31st May. During the period of two months, I researched upon 360degree analysis of the paint industry. The project's main objective is to bring the investment of foreign companies like Zingametall, The Roval Corporation, who are pioneers in manufacturing Zinc Rich Paints, to India. My Research work started from Understanding the Indian Paint Market, divided into two parts decorative paints and industrial paints. Decorative paints account for 70- 75% of the Indian Market, and industrial paint accounts for 30-25% of the market share. This is followed by understanding the product details or range of products spread across four pioneer companies in the paint industry, i.e., Kansai Nerolac, Asian PPG Paints, Akzo Noble, and Berger paints. Based on my research work and Understanding, I divided the paint industry into four types of paint: Epoxies, PU (Polyurethanes), Polysiloxanes, and Zinc Rich Primers. I did an in-depth study of all the BIS, American, and ISO standards for coating application and concluded the need to introduce Zinc Rich paint standard in India. At final the marketing team consisting of Mr. Abhijeet Kumar and Mr. Mayank Raheja and me, the product development team of Sandeep Pratap Singh and Tamanna Kamboj we all had a meet with Bruno Saverys, CEO, and Dimitri Saverys, International Business Developer from Zingametall, discussing the findings of Indian Market and way forward.
