      Undergraduate Research Assistant

Under Dr. Ali Gokirmak, I researched the modeling and electrical characterization of phase change memory (PCM) materials and devices for commercial use at UConn's Nanoelectronics Laboratory.Accomplishments:• Measured voltage and current (IV) characteristics of prototyped PCM devices via LabVIEW software• Repaired and designed new LabVIEW software for the lab's Seebeck measuring setup, which allows IV curves to be measured on samples at high temperatures (~450°C)• Assisted numerous Ph.D. students with weekly projects in the lab, including writing Arduino code to move a microscope, installing new computers and parts on various lab equipment, and plating materials on samples via sputtering deposition• Developed digital 3D models of phase change memory devices in Rhino 7 Show less

      Digital Logic Teaching Assistant

I assisted the School of Computing in teaching UConn’s CSE 2301 course: Digital Logic Design. In this course, students learn the fundamentals of Boolean algebra, combinational and sequential logic, and circuit implementation. These skills are applied in TA-led lab sessions, where students build virtual circuits on LogicWorks and physical circuits on their breadboards. My responsibilities include facilitating weekly in-person lab sessions, answering questions both during office hours and over Discord, and grading weekly lab reports and exams.I assisted Professor Mohammad Khan and Professor Sheida Nabavi in teaching this course during the Fall 2022/Fall 2023 and Spring 2023/Spring 2024 semesters, respectively.
