  During her Spring 2022 semester, Fehintola was able to study abroad at the University of Ghana in East Legon, Accra, Ghana. Fehintola's study-abroad experience was fully funded by 3 highly competitive and rigorous national scholarships: the Boren Scholarship, the Gilman Scholarship, and the FEA Scholarship.Fehintola can proudly say that nationwide, she was “1 in 24” of a pool of over 1,250 applicants for the FEA award, "1 out of 188" from 626 undergraduate applications for the Boren award, and a recipient for the Gilman Scholarship which only awards 1 in 4 applicants.Fehintola explored and learned a lot during her experiential learning experience in Ghana.
