We built and moved the operations to a new world class manufacturing plant, improving efficiency by 50 %. Vertical integration of extrusion and injection molding processes to reduce product cost by 35 %. Increase the value of production from $ 20 M to $ 63 M, transferring new product lines to the plant. We started respiratory product sales in Mexico. Also responsible of the plant annual budget, product cost reductions, financial reporting, taxes and legal controls.   I was responsible of the overall Nuevo Laredo plants activities & results. The plant manufactures respiratory and surgical medical devices. We hired and trained an organization capable to successfully complete the transfer of three plants from US and grew the business from $ 10 to $ 56 Million in one year. We also started the transfer of another two plants from US, relocated and started 55 injection molding machines and 9 extruders. We implemented several lean and six sigma projects and reduced the cost by 10 %. PRMS and SAP ERP manufacturing systems were implemented and people motivated and enforced to use the system to its capacity. We reduced the back orders from $ 4 Million to less than $ 1 million. We obtained the13485 European certification from an international firm. Plant population grew from 500 to 1,800 employees. I was also responsible of the plant annual budget, product cost reductions, taxes and legal controls. Established and gave follow up to annual sales plan.   I was responsible of the overall Juarez, Henequen and Bermudez plants activities & results. These plants manufacture airways and temperature medical devices as well as injection molded components and extruded tubes for these products. Injection molded and extruded tubes are manufactured in a world class state of the art facility with 30 injection molding machines. Airways and Temperature products are exported and sold in all the world through the Covidien sales and marketing organizations. We provide excellent service and quality products to our customers, with a very low inventory. The plant has an ISO 9002 as well as ISO13485-2003 European certification from an international firm. Both plants population is over 1,150 employees. I am responsible to establish and give follow up to annual sales plan and the plant annual budget, product cost reductions, taxes and legal controls.   I was responsible to lead and complete the start up of a new plant for automotive components in Central Mexico. This plant manufactures manifolds, air intake systems and other engine components to ship directly as tier 1, to several assembly plants located in the central part of Mexico. Main processes for production are: Injection moulding, vibration welding, assembly stations, as well as all the additional equipment to run these equipments as well as supply the raw materials and test the final products. SAP manufacturing system as well as quality and safety program were implemented during the start up. Plant started production on May 2015, at the end of October 2017, the plant is now invoicing sales of more than 4 million a month. Show less I was responsible of the operation and results of three plants manufacturing products for the automotive industry. These plants manufacture manifolds, air intake systems, filters, oil coolers, carbon canisters and other automotive products for customers as; Nissan, Chrysler, VW, Ford and others. Injection molding, vibration welding, pleating, aluminum stamping processes are used to manufacture the different products in three different locations. Components are sent JIT to different engine and assembly plants located in Mexico, USA, Europe and Asia. We provided excellent service and quality products to our customers for OEM as well as OES markets, with very low inventory. These plants have a TSO as well as ISO 14001 certifications. Total plants population was over 900 employees. I was responsible to establish and gave follow up to annual sales plans and the plants annual budget, product cost reductions, taxes and legal controls.
