Also the supervision of critical completions and pre-assembly work. Employed by Frank’s to establish a Torque Turn Division for Frank’s in South East Asia. Offshore operations running DST’s, Completions ( Single and Dual ), and destructive testing on the new AMF Tubescope and TKC Couplings using Frank’s Torque Turn system for Esso.1981-1982 2 Months in the UK training for W/Ford in the Joint Analyzed Makeup system [JAM] and electronics. Involved with the developmentin start up of the HP-85 Jam System ( S’pore ).

  Setting up the Hawk Jaw Division [automated portable drill pipe tong] in South East Asia. This involved Hawk Jaw installation / modification & complete rebuilds, maintenance, training and compiling procedures for rig and oil company personnel. Supervising the offshore casing running services for BP Russia in Sakhalinsk Offshore Exploration venture. This was also inclusive of setting up and training rig personnel in the running of the Hawk Jaw ( Portable Iron Rough neck ). Training Frank’s personnel at the in house training school in Brunei and implementation of CRA ( Chrome Running Applications ) procedures for rig and oil company staff. Initiating the start and subsequent running of the Franks office and support facilities in Sale Victoria, Australia. This involved the implementation of CRA procedures, training of ESSO Australia personnel in the handling of CRA tubulars for their Bream ‘B’ Platform and Barries Beach support base.
