  I was responsible for analysis of material failure by fracture mechanics approach, study the crack behavior in composites, crack propagation at interfaces in composites and comparing different failure modes in composites and isotropic materials. Also, handled a research project, “Multiscale Modeling and Experimental Study of the Mechanics of Polymer Nanocomposite Materials” sponsored by the US Department of Energy (DOE).

My responsibilities included managing all technical issues and risks on projects with customer. Executed balance of plant engineering for gas and steam turbine based power plants. Provided technical leadership to multi-discipline engineering team. Developed documentation to ensure effective reviews. Supported site construction, commissioning and startup activities. Planned, scheduled, maintained and monitored engineering activities and budget. Met with customers and partners as necessary to mitigate technical risks. Performed detailed review and supervision of engineering services provided by others, including oversight of scope definition.
