  Worked in Erection and commissioning periods in Sohar-II power plant as a shift engineer for more than two years. This plant deals with two gas turbine generators (type Siemens V94.3a) with generation of 250 MW each and one steam turbine generator of 250 MW (type Siemens). Gained experience in T3000 software which is most powerful software used by Siemens to operate their plants. Involved in commissioning activities such as writing down punch lists, walk downs, meetings, commissioning testing…etc. Then started the commercial early power of the plant and involved in its operation activities such as making permits, isolation, preparing reports…etc. Finally started the official commercial period with combined cycle with a lot of activities of operation and maintenance. This plant deals with three gas turbine generators (type Siemens V94.2) with generation of 140 MW each and one steam turbine generator (type Alstom) with generation of 220 MW. Also this plant deals with four distillate units (Multi Stage Flash). Each unit produces 1600 m3/h of distillate water.
