      • I worked here as a technician, I did Ultrasonic testing and Radiographic testing here. We used Iridium 192 isotope and AGFA D-7 and FUGI ×100 films. I worked sitas C/O Shree shiva Sai cast pvt ltd there we used to test/inspect casting parts from very small to huge components.• After Casting the components which are required inspection by the customer are produced under our department.• we primarily Mark the components with different Alphabets and numbers.• After Marking we used to calculate the Film size, SFD, Focal length and time for radiation.• After finding film size we used to cut the film to required size and load it in the cassette which is done in the Dark room, then we use to place the film and source in the radiation room and we start the radiation process.• After required time we take out the Exposed film and go the dark room for developing in dark room we have different chemical solutions for film to settle.• first developer solution in which the exposed portion of the film gets settled then Shop bath for 15 sec to remove developer.• After that Fixer solution in which unexposed portion of the film gets settled then we wash the film thoroughly to remove water and finger marks, at last we dried the film in Normal Air.• After that we used to do Interpretations of the film. we had film interpreter in which we used to see for the discontinuity/ Flaws several flaws like crack, Air bubbles, shrinkage have been identified then we used to mark the location of the flaw in the components.• then it should transfer to welding department to remove the flaw and weld it thoroughly and the again, they transfer to RT then we used to reshoot and finalize the components for dispatch.
