  Direct the R&I activities of Hutchinson Precision Sealing Systems activity in North America, working with customers, developing solutions for current problems and new opportunities. Introducing to customers new products. Technical Director for the material at Precision Sealing Systems in North America. Setting and managing the development at the plant in USA and Mexico.Responsible for the surface treatment line (phosphating) as well adhesive. Development and approval of water-based adhesives. Sales Manager in charge of the Oil & Gas customer, including O-Rings, Molded Parts, Valve Metal Seats and Balls.Also responsible for the sales thru a distributors network, defining which compounds and products to promote. - Compound development for new applications and optimization of the existent ones.- Technical assistance to customers, using material engineering background allied to expertise acquired during the years working in a solid worldwide rubber group. Managed the start-up of the new mixing plant, with troubleshooting of issues, setup of mixing procedures and approval with Tier 1 and OEMs.Managed the compound development and approvals.Managed the mixing department, responsible for supplying the molding plant.Developed and implemented the costing method.Managed the compound transfer between European plants and Mexico, to localize recipes. - Managed the laboratory staff, developing compound and testing procedures.- Managed the mixing production transfer from Downey, CA to Ensenada, Mexico, designing the new mixing plant, defining equipment and selecting vendors. - Managed the R&D Compound Laboratory on the development of compounds for different process (compression, injection, transfer).- Transfer and validation of mixing line purchased by the company, improving mixing process and compound approval by customers.
