  As an Event Manager at Oaken events, I was charged with:-Ensuring that our clients have their events organized and managed with top-notch quality.- Overseeing the smooth running of events ranging from book launches, product management to inaugural events, ensuring that all needs from logistics to rentals are adequately handled.-Liaising with clients at all levels to design new concepts for their proposed projects locally and Internationally.-Responsible for putting together the A-team, contractors for all destination events.-Developing, implementing, and managing conferences, product launches, and events.-Responsible for revenue generation and managing a financial portfolio of clients over thousands of dollars.-Building communication strategies to support project initiatives.-Working closely with contractors to ensure effective and timely delivery of client brief.-In charge of the accommodation, schedules, and all client/ guests logistics.-Overseeing procurement of catering, audio-visual, security, and rental needs.-Managing relationships with clients and event sponsors.   The Amazing Woman is a social enterprise founded on the principles of equipping women (especially stay-at-home mothers) with the digital and social tools to drive their business sales online, while still dedicating time to their families. Our goal is to create a safe hub for mothers to learn, work and create sustainable models to drive their ideas, solutions, or businesses using technology and digital tools. We believe the more mothers there are creating successful businesses, the stronger the economy. The Amazing Woman as a venture targets Sustainable Development Goals 1, 4, 5, and 8.Projects include:-The Build Like A Woman Course: A 4 weeks intensive hybrid course that teaches stay-at-home mothers how to monetize a skill and start a sustainable business from the comfort of their homes. -Create and Collaborate Women Summit: A series of conversations, master classes, and webinars propelling women in the creative sector to discover their MVP and scale through networking, mentorship, business opportunities, and an amazing marketplace.-T.A.W Bootcamp: 6-month immersive accelerator, designed to train young girls and women, who have not been able to start a professional career, to become Web Developers, UX Designers, and fill other IT roles, using a project-based Agile Classroom.
