Further personal explorations in extracurricular excellence:•Active Member of local & state chapters of Emergency Nurses Association; served as a delegate to 2015 ENA national conference as well as in State Chapter responsible for chapter online presence. •Independently attended additional conferences to develop knowledge and skills in current emergency nursing practices. •Achieved EMT-Basic certification followed shortly thereafter by Advanced-EMT certification.•Obtained Stop The Bleed Instructor certification and collaborated in hospital’s Trauma Services Department community outreach efforts via team-training teachers in community schools regarding principles of Stop The Bleed Program and use of grant-funded bleeding control kits provided to schools. *For clarity surrounding overlapping positions, from Fall 2017 — Fall 2018 I continued weekly per diem work in Emergency Department while working concomitantly full-time in NTICU and part-time as EMS Clinical Instructor.
