Apr 2019 Teacher fellowships, currently $6,000 per teacher, are awarded to 100 Wisconsin educators in grades pre-K through 12. Each fellow's school also receives a $6,000 grant. National Board Certified Teacher National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Dec 2018 National board certification is a performance-based, peer-reviewed process that requires teachers to demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills, and practice in their subject area through three portfolio entries and a computer-based assessment. The certification process, created by teachers for teachers, is based on the Five Core Propositions and Standards for teaching.
