  Founder and Executive Director of Africa Sickle Cell Organization. I work as a Project Manager and a Patient Advocate creating partnerships with National & Local Government, CSO’s and other Healthcare Stakeholders to create programs, guidelines, policies and healthcare systems around Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Kenya. I works in marginalized (geographically, socio-economically, demographically) communities in Kenya to educate, advocate and guide local County Governments to allocate budgets that create and improve healthcare systems and policies for Sickle Cell and NCDs. I partnered with multiple private stakeholders to provide bridge gap of access to healthcare in low income patient communities with Universal Health Coverage.As director in Africa Sickle Cell Organization , we benchmark and tailor make Sickle Cell programs alongside governments to solve problems of awareness, advocacy and access.   Our Views, Our Voices is an NCD Alliance initiative to meaningfully involve people living with NCDs (PLWNCDs) in the NCD response, to promote the voices of PLWNCDs in advocacy and organizational development in order to advance the rights of people living with, or affected by, NCDs and combat stigma and discrimination. The initiative is guided by an Advisory Committee of recognized advocacy experts with lived experience. • Advising on the initiative’s overall strategy • Advising, informing and inputting on the initiative’s training strategy, training roll- out and resources to build capacities of people living with NCDs at global and national levels. • Advising and inputting on generic Our Views, Our Voices resources based on needs of the Our Views, Our Voices group • Informing and advising on how to further the Advocacy Agenda of People Living with NCDs in national contexts • Advising how to include PLWNCDs in the NCD Alliance’s advocacy campaign towards the UN High-level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage • Giving strategic advice towards the development of the Our Views, Our Voices group of People Living with NCDs (PLWNCDs) • Advising how to amplify participation of PLWNCDs in the Global Week of Action on NCDs • Promoting 2019 advocacy efforts related to the UN HLM on UHC, the Our Views, Our Voices group, the WHO GCM Community of Practice on Meaningful Involvement of PLWNCDs amongst committee member’s own networks of PLWNCDs who they believe would be interested in being involved • Promoting the Our Views, Our Voices initiative in communications and in-person events, as appropriate.
