  • Successfully led the first collaboration with Daimler Greater China (DGRC), Beijing for the body structure development of the new C-class for China Market, involving the production of over 800,000 cars. Also responsible for allocation and management of team resources/personnel as well as the budget for this project.• Implemented Industry 4.0 project throughout the general assembly, integrating IoTs with production line and internal supply chain• Development activities for the next generation Mercedes, the S-Class- Worked on the latest technologies in multi-material body(primarily aluminium and steel) & joining technologies. Involved in concept generation, feasibility study & product development over complete life-cycle. • Realized cost saving of $9M by eliminating the prototype phase through feasibility study of structural parts involving cost-weight-manufacturing optimization and localization strategies.• Supported Management activities such as internal/external audits and represented team to showcase projects to various stakeholders. Additional responsibilities included mentoring trainee engineers out of university, providing guidance to new recruits & conducting knowledge sharing sessions related to product design, industrial best practices and project management• Coordinated activities of team members in India and acted as an interface between DAIMLER AG/DGRC & MBRDI during on-site stays in Germany and China.
