      Co-leading with NASA partners the CEOS WGISS Integrated Catalog project (CWIC). CWIC is a multi-agency initiative aimed to develop and implement a community catalog that enables access to satellite data from all the CEOS participant partners. This project essentially is trying to translate native protocols from the data providers into a common language compliant with ISO and OpenSearch standards and GEOSS Common Infrastructure (GCI) protocols. Currently involved in this project are the initial members NOAA, NASA and USGS in addition to partners in Brazil (INPE), China (Chinese Academy of Opto-Electrics AOE, CRESDA), Canada (CCMEO), Europe (ESA), South Africa (CSIR),Thailand (GISTDA), Japan (JAXA) and India (ISRO).Satellite data that was not accessible before is now available to the community.
