As product manager for WLL I travelled the world visiting customers and trade expos. Later I transferred within the company to mobile phone antenna business unit. FLK had secured deal to supply antennas for Nokia 3310 phone family, which later became the most sold mobile phone in the world. I had full responsibility of the program, which included also acquisition of production lines. This time FLK was setting up a factory to Suzhou China and I was involved in that project too. I was part of POHTO*s leadership and management team and worked continuously with several companies around Finland and also in Europe. Mostly I worked on management/leadership and project management development, but was involved on wide variety of tasks and challenges. Typically I first visited my customer companies, then analyze their current business situation and needs and based on those create development programs to their business/employees/management to achieve common targets, both hard and soft ones. These programs could be two days long effective support or several years long development programs. At POHTO I worked basically as independent entrepreneur with own targets and strategies, naturally in line with POHTO’s ones. As I planned and designed development programs myself, I have excellent teaching skills (both Finnish / English) and personally like teaching and coaching people. Show less

Airshow and flying display director (fdd)

Finland Centenary Airshow at Kaivopuisto park seafront June 9, 2017. The annual main airshow of Finland 2017, Seinäjoki Int' Airshow June 10-11, 2017http://ilmailumuseo.fi/en/suomi100-finland-flies/https://airshow2017.fi/As Airshow and Display Director I had full responsibility of planning, arranging and managing challenging flight operations with my team of some 20 people. Planning and running an airshow is major program which requires strong project management, operations, leadership and aviation skills. Airshow is a project with hard dead-len, which can not move.Running an airshow right next to Helsinki City Center was challenging task, but it is Finland's Centenary year, so we did our best to give great aviation experience to all. Right after Friday evening Centenary Airshow almost all aircraft flew to Seinäjoki where we had other airshow next day,Worked closely with HX-program parcticipants (Finnish AF Hornet replacement program) Saab. Boeing, BAe Systems, Dassault and Boeing.Running and managing both Finland Centenary Airshow in Helsinki and the annual main airshow of Finland at Seinäjoki airport on same weekend was very demanding challenge. My team was really looking forward to this challenge and we run two great airshows on this weekend! We had over 130 000 people in Kaivopuisto park in Helsinki, thousands of boats and if we count near by islands, areas etc we reach easily over 200 000 spectators. In Greater Helsinki region leaves 1,25 million people (in Finland total 5.2 million), so well over 10% of local population came to see our Centenary Airshow. In addition three big media houses live streamed the whole display program (Friday evening from 16-21) and they had each some 200 000 watchers. So over 10% of whole Finland were watching Finland Centenary airshow!Seinäjoki airshow was also great success with great displays and big crowd. Show less

The area and its sufficient infrastructure ensured a top-level exhibition of flight capabilities. Antalya was selected because it meets all the criteria for such an international aviation event: technical and operational infrastructure, military aircraft technical requirements, ground handling services, entertainment and shopping facilities, accommodation capacity, accessibility, and favorable weather conditions.
