  As the Day Camp Programming Supervisor, I created training curriculums for over 60 staff. These trainings prepared staff to support our participants for a 9 week 2 session summer camp program and a weekly weekend program for disabled people ages 5-22 years old. I supervised and provided support to 6 activity specialists in the areas of nature, arts and crafts, world discovery, sensory, gym and waterfront activities. I created activity lesson plans for all activity areas, managed a budget and purchased supplies and managed supply inventory. I organized and led camp wide activities with community partners to create fun and engaging summers for our participants. In addition to my to programming responsibilities I supported participants as needed with behavior interventions and support through a compassionate and empathetic approach. I maintained a certification in CPR from the American Red Cross and a certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention through the Crisis Prevention Institute. Show less
