Diploma in european music & armonia european music & piano

Music was always my biggest love. At the age of three, I began to study Western/European Music (classical music theory) and the piano. My Diplomas and my experience gained through my participations in public concerts as a vocalist and as a piano player, allow me to teach music to private and public schools.

Achromatopsia (ACHM), also referred to as rod monochromatism , typical achromatopsia or complete achromatopsia , is a stationary cone dystrophy in which there is an absence of functioning cone photoreceptors in the retina but normal rod responses . ACHM is characterized by low visual acuity , photophobia, total color blindness, nystagmus with an hypermetropic error to be common in achromate patients .Achromatopsia is genetically heterogeneous and recessively inherited with an estimated prevalence of ~1 in 30.000. There are three genes to date associated with achromatopsia : CNGA3 and CNGB3, whose mutations encode the α- and b-subunits , respectively, of the cone cyclic cGMP-gated channel , cause achromatopsia and the CNAT2,which codes for the α-subunit of cone-specific transducin .In currently ongoing clinical trials, groups include in their gene therapy studies sub retinal injections of adeno-associated viral (rAAV) vectors. Successful use of recombinant rAAV vectors in animal models also led to treatment of retinal degeneration and this in turn to human clinical trials. To this end, we have previously reported a restoration of cone function at a time cone degeneration has already started and associated photopic vision in CNGA3-/- mouse model by using rAAV5 vectors Our group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dominik Fischer applied gene therapy for the first time in CNGA3-patients and a similar strategy is planned in patients with retinitis pigmentosa. To date, nine CNGA3-patients had a surgery in which rAAV.hCNGA3 vectors were injected in their retina and it’s the first gene therapy study worldwide specifically aimed at for these conditions.
