  SCHUIT was an accelerator for a wide variety of art engaging the body. I worked foremost with young designers and artists with a foundation in fashion design and questioning the spaces we inhabit by playing with our proprioception. From jewellery to performance and installations, my intention was to illuminate the impact of objects on how we move through life. SCHUIT started with exhibiting unique clothing by emerging designers, showcasing the pieces as art objects in set editions. These works were all born within the academic bubble of pure creativity, without commercial restrictions or the pressure to compromise to regular fashion cycles. As a crew SCHUIT and the designers selected the key pieces from their graduation collections and invested in further development and production processes. The collaborations were based on trust and with several designers worked together on a few exhibitions. Designers included o.a. Diek Pothoven, Joanne Vosloo, Buro Belén, Sinead O’Dwyer, Max Zara Sterck, Stephanie Baechler, Milena Naef, Katharina Dubbick, Johannes Offerhaus. With SCHUIT I organised 14 exhibitions in collaboration with DROOG, KunstRAI, Scopes Porsche, Fashion Clash Maastricht, Frozen Fountain, Galerie Marzee/Qade Rotterdam, Fashion Design Festival Arnhem, Kers Gallery, Particles Gallery and on a construction site.
