I arranged, designed and facilitated knowledge sharing workshops, targeting the challenges often encountered as a first year university student. The workshops was as well designed to enlightened the students about worthwhile opportunities worth pursing during their education at CBS e.g. an exchange stay abroad.

  I worked in close collaboration with two Computer Science students from Copenhagen University, on an IT/Finance-project for Saxo Bank. The project work gave me the opportunity to explore and experience the challenges you face as an IT business manager, especially related to project management and system development, when working in a cross academic, cross professional and cross cultural environment.

  Note: I realised four months into my employment as a PhD fellow at Copenhagen Business School a personal desire to get out into practice, in order to engage directly with the implementation and management of information technologies in real-life organizations. I therefore resigned from my position at CBS to pursue job opportunities offering new experiences, challenges and career opportunities targeting these desires.Experience obtained during employment:Main research topic: Big Datas role in Strategic Decision makingPersonally fascinated by the endless possibilities inherent in the vast and ever increasing amounts of data that we as a society create, the choice of Open Big Data as research topic was obvious. Narrowing in at where these unprecedented amounts of data, truly can be utilized in order to create both business and societal value, I scoped my research aim targeting the role of OBD in strategic decision making. Teaching in: Organization Theory - BSc(it). I had the pleasure of preparing and giving lectures for the entire group of first semester HA(it) students, a very rewarding and instructive experience.Teaching assistent - Introduction to Information Systems and Information Systems Development - BSc(it). I had the responsibility of preparing the course exercises which trough a highly practical approach introduced and challenged the students, including utilizing project management tools and programming using HTML, CSS and Javascript.
