      Student Placement

      I undertook a four week summer placement in which I helped to create a computer program. It used basic thermodynamic principles of heat transfer in a material to compute how the temperature of a specialised heat resistant material changed when placed in a furnace. The same material was then designed on AutoCAD and tested using its inbuilt software in order to compare the results. This experience taught me how to work towards a specific target and deadline within a team.
