My duties included drawing all different types of plans for Mr. Awrey: structural plans, grading plans, structural details, 3D rendering, etc. I also took care of the day-to-day office stuff. I organized and file all his plans, manage his office network and computers. The second part of my job is to learn from Mr. Awrey the ins and outs of the engineering business. I frequently follow him to the structural observations that he does almost on a daily basis, and he teaches me what is allowed and what is not allowed in the world of engineering, in the office, and in the field.
