  Oversee and assist with all technical aspects of student rocket design including manufacturing, testing and delegation of responsibilities of a 10,000ft, 6in category rocket. The management of 5 subteams or 80 active members conducting design reviews and conducting static and live launch testing. Competing at Spaceport America Cup 2024. As the Flight Dynamics Lead at Clemson Rocket Engineering, I directed rocket design and optimization using tools like ANSYS Fluent, OpenRocket, RASaero, Solidworks. My focus covered safety margin, stability, weather assessments, center of pressure, and apogee predictions. Achieved a 1.07% error from the actual apogee at Spaceport America 2023.

  Undergraduate research position focused on Dynamic Topology Optimization on NASA Rigid-Flex Origami Rovers (PUFFER). Research included an analytical study on various topology methods determining stepwise approach to a dynamically loaded PCB using optimization tools. A Initial verification against closed form dynamic solutions for single degree of freedom systems. With the current objective of Designing lightweight structural reinforcement using topology methods to reduce the curvature on a PCB switching between frequency and static ESL(Equivalent Static Loading) optimization.   Undergraduate research focused on the study of Savart Bell Fluid flow over variating impact angles, shapes, and materials using a circular cross section. Responsibilities include the development and assembling a structure providing a laminar flow, with modular capabilities. This included designing a system that could move the flow nozzle in any orientation providing a smooth flow rate. The study included the effects of different materials, impactor angles, and size which impact the adhesion and direction of flow. Show less
