      Whilst working at UWA I worked part time & full time as an HR Officer across various different departments. I provided general payroll and recruitment guidance to managers. I solely conducted recruitment process for upcoming vacancies within the organization. I developed adverts, assessed applications and shortlisted, developed interview questions, conducted interviews, completed referee checks and provided feedback to applicants. I coordinated and managed staff inductions and orientations for new employees.       I was responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of a cultural alignment workshop between Rio Tinto staff and a Brazilian service provider to facilitate improved communication between the two teams. This involved analysing the current situation and interactions between the two parties to determine which key areas needed to be addressed in the workshop. This included interviewing individuals from both teams across all cultures within the wider group. Extensive research was required to find suitable theory to support the inclusion of each workshop topic and for justification for the inclusion of practical exercises selected to address the key objectives of the workshop.       Whilst working at Shell my role was to coordinate and implement a sustainable work experience model for disadvantaged high school students to act as a secondary recruitment channel to support the workforce planning strategy. The program was built around three components – Insight Activities designed to build trust and rapport with participating young people, sharing what the organisation does and exploring the different career paths of employees.I also worked on a attraction an retention project focused on an action plan to mitigate against the potential impacts of a FIFO roster on employees and their families’ wellbeing which impacts attrition.
