      Loss Prevention Advisor (TK Maxx)

I started my loss prevention career here as an LPA. TK Maxx heavily invest in their LP departments, and I was trained very well here in all aspects of the job. A few weeks into the job I was recognised for exceptional numbers on my external arrests and gained the nick name 'eagle eye' from my boss. I was awarded with a fair few awards during my time with the company, breaking records at some sites for the number of external arrests. I was trained well in all the staples of the loss prevention roll here, including internal investigations and duties as well as how to deal with the corporate/business side of things also. Show less

I would attend management meetings, train staff, and educate employees on shrink. I would organise my teams’ daily activities and rotas and would perform such duties as key holding, cash charting, organising searches and merchandise protection checks, always ensuring all the relevant paperwork was kept up to date. Barely a year into this role I was promoted to a supervisory role, overseeing the team on the ground. My main responsibilities in this position were similar to what my current position entails and can provide more information on the role on request. Show less
