  Manages the safety program for a National Guard Joint Force Headquarters. Develops and administers a large safety program. Advises and assists supervisors and staff on all safety matters. Reviews future operations to ensure hazards are identified and mitigation plans are incorporated and supervised. Monitors all functional areas and reviews risk assessments for Operations, Maintenance, Hazardous Materials and Ground Support Equipment. Provides leadership oversight to meet safety training requirements in Hazard Communication (HAZCOM), ergonomics, walking and working surfaces, fall protection, personal protective equipment, explosive safety, range safety, and emergency response.
