  - Mapped and examined different methods for land cover classification of mangroves, aquaculture and coastal wetlands using Landsat 5 satellite imagery for the year 1999 in Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia.- Applied methods such as Mahalanobis classifier and machine learning algorithms such as the Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network (MLP) for mapping the mangroves and aquaculture.
