Responsible for pricing and promotions, merchandising and a focus on increasing market share and maximising profit. Also responsible for data analysis and providing insights across all activities to support management decision making. Responsibilities also involved corresponding with suppliers and multiple departments within the business. Regular trips to Dublin were required for monitoring competition, liaising with store colleagues for further business insight and to monitor the implementation of prices and promotions. Key Successes:Identifying lines through analysis reports that were being sold with a profit margin of less than 5% and increasing the prices with no negative effect on future sales.       Duties include creating a new showmaterial reprint process from a previous print from order system, setting up new fixtures and display aids on intactix to be used for merchandising. Managing the processing schedule for planograms and floorplans, manage all the communications to the business for the intactix upgrade. Also assisting with training of new employees on how to use intactix. Updating and maintaining mystorenet for stores with merchandising information for the latest rebuild period and uploading checklists of fixtures and showmaterial required for new builds. Key Successes: Created a new showmaterial reprint process with the main purpose to reduce costs by printing more efficient quantities. Reduced printing costs by 60%, increased availability and decreased wait time of stock to stores, removed over 30,000 different items of showmaterial containing over 20 million in stock resulting in decreasing storage costs and ensuring stores were unable to order items with legal implications. Managing planner feedback log which records planner issues reported from stores and support teams. On handover the report contained over 45 outstanding issues with more than 50% dating back from over 3 months. Since successful management of issues and cross functional work the report has had all issues resolved and now has a two week turnaround time for all resolutions. Managed the integration of No7 line lists into planograms. This included creating all fixtures and fittings on intactix, designing print layouts, obtaining all product images from suppliers and creating communications to stores. Accountabilities include completing new line updates, strategic rebuilds and trials for the premium facial skincare planograms for 2,500 stores across the UK and Ireland.
