  CRS is regulated by the Claims Management Regulator (CMR), a unit of the Ministry of Justice.I was responsible for handling complaints on behalf of customers who were mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI) and mortgage protection payment insurance (MPPI). I drafted complaints and negotiated the terms of compensation with various banks. I also dealt with the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). This role required attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and third parties. Dealing with customers’ personal data required me to understand the requirements of data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).I gained an understanding of the legal requirements for claim management companies client accounts rules. How to set to up and operate client accounts, record keeping and accounting and monitoring standards. I acquired knowledge of the regulatory regime for financial services, including the role of the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority. Show less

  The Prince's Countryside Fund

  The Prince’s Countryside Fund’s main objective as a charity is to improve the prospects of family farm businesses and rural communities in the UK. This role required me to increase operational efficiency within the Fund. I was tasked with keeping open lines of communication with ambassadors, beneficiaries and Friends of the Trust and day to day office management. I handled grant applications from applicants ranging from charities, to unincorporated associations using the online grant management system by Microedge, called GOGIFTS. I have also been responsible for the Data Migration from server-based to cloud-based solutions. I was able to successfully transfer without causing technical issues, thus ensuring my teams work remained uninterrupted, all the while providing IT support throughout the process. My other projects included providing technical assistance with the Prince’s Farm Resilience Program and fundraising for The PCF Ascot Race day; that raised £1.4 million from the likes of Cartier and The Ritz London.   At Fire Tech I was expected to teach Python and Robotics courses: • Starting with the basics and building up to more advanced projects. Creating videogames and importing external hardware in the form of accelerometers and other sensors was one of my favourite projects. • Adding peripherals to individual students’ code required me to be exceptionally good at debugging individuals work. • I was expected and trusted to be very flexible with the syllabus I am left with a lot of freedom to teach as I see fit. This also included working during the weekend to ensure I was able to deliver during the week. To ensure I went above and beyond what was expected of me I: • Organised activities outside of coding – Break time and lunchtime activities • Implement measure to ensure student safety – safeguarding whilst out in public• Key member of the team as a first aider – I successfully prevented smoking throughout the Imperial University of London campus. By promoting awareness and encouraging security and staff that turned a blind eye to this I prevented children from the effects of second-hand smoke. My extra efforts and strong work ethic were recognised by Fire Tech and I received Tutor of the Week bonuses and staff bonuses multiple times as a result. Show less

During lockdown some of the more common problems that arise in Windows 10 aren't as easily fixed when you're not physically infront of a machine, therefore; I designed a from the ground up system that ensured users are able to work in unison with the IT desk to remotely fix these issues.
