My current project, which is under primary contractor KHANSAHEB and has a project value of 22.5 million AED is fitout/ID work of Signature Villa for a private client in the frond J Palm Jumeirah, started on Feb 2024.Key Achievements:• Overseeing several contractors that the customer has nominated; working well with all contractors; conducting prompt inspections with external stakeholders; and making sure the project is turned over on schedule.• Acceleration programs were implemented, such as adding more vendors and pushing back the timeline to turn over the project before its scheduled completion date.• Applied best practices and procedures for building methods, resulting in an average 10% increase in resource productivity.• Putting new safety system standards into place that guarantee the ZERO ACCIDENT concept by averting all mishaps and occurrences on the job site and reducing safety incidents by 50% in a year. Show less Dismantling the Kingdom of Netherland Pavilion - More than 2400 tons of steel with sheet piles of length 19 meters and steel tubes 914mm diameter of 22 meter length was dismantled in two phases. Phase 1 with 200 ton mobile crane parked at BOH to reach half way of the pavilion and Phase 2 with dropping 200 ton mobile crane in to the basement level (lifted by 350 ton mobile crane). Several authority disconnection inspections pushed earlier and received approvals, inspection with EXPO team was submitted on time including the foundation removal inspection with Dubai South on time and achieved the mile stone. Every critical activities given keen attention and importance by planning and assigning proper resources was achieved on time without causing any delays in projectFirst stage of decommissioning works had been started during first week of April 2022 as scheduled. Decommissioning of structural and MEP works delayed by three weeks due to delay in approval of work permit from EXPO. Attached a Planned VS actual program summary, which is self-explanatory. Disconnection of all service disconnection requests were initiated in advance by LC&P team and carried out all authority inspections as scheduled and all service disconnections were completed in time. We had anticipated delays in structural works completion and it might lead a delay in plot backfilling works, in order to mitigate the delays, we had divided this plot area into two sections as phase 1 and phase 2 for better control. Plot backfilling works for phase 1 is almost completed. Project completion target (20 Sep 2022) is now in our control, and we eliminated the risk by taking proactive actions in time. We coordinated and supervised all subcontractors activities on a day to day basis. The role of construction management is vital in completion of one of the difficult and risky decommissioning project in EXPO. It is very proud to state that, no incidents/accidents reported, LTI is zero hours in this project. Show less PROJECTS:1. SWEDISH PAVILION at EXPO 20202. NETHERLAND PAVILION at EXPO 20203. One of the main targets of the Swedish Pavilion development is to be an example of bio-circular economy, maximizing the use of recyclable, carbon accumulating construction materials, avoiding the use of concrete and minimizing the use of plastics, mineral wools and metals. The Dutch pavilion is the embodiment of the Netherlands’ chosen theme of ‘uniting water, energy, food’ and demonstrates the connection this country is so good at making between sustainable energy, water management, agriculture and circularity. The philosophy for the design resulted in pavilion being a civil structure of steel sheet piles and steel struts.
