      Served as the Senior Emergency Management Specialist, Recovery Division, Individual Assistance Branch of FEMA Region IX comprehensively managing all aspects of the Individuals and Households Program (IHP) and related activities.• Deployed as Deputy Housing Task Force Lead and Individual Assistance Group Supervisor for 7 ½ months after devastating October 2017 Wildfires in California. Supervised 18 – 25 staff working on Direct Housing Mission. Was primary staff responsible for the successful implementation of complex housing program that housed 250 households across seven (7) counties in Northern California. Project Managed $2.5M site improvement project at USACE campground in Mendocino County, CA to house 25 households with no other option for temporary disaster housing.• One of only two signature authorities for all allocations and obligations of federal funds for the Individuals and Households Program. Tracked all expenditures and assisted the Branch Chief with management of budget. Approved (programmatically) all purchase orders and resource requests. Monitored disaster and non-disaster budgets, often at the tens of millions level.
