As Head TA, I worked on moving the AST1001 labs from a physical lab book to online. This made sure that the students would not have to purchase the lab book if they did not have the funds and along with that, reduce the cost for the university to print those books every year. I worked with 22 other TAs in organizing weekly meetings to make sure that the TAs met their responsibilities such as inputting grades, performing exam proctoring duties, public outreach events and also discussing issues with each lab. I was continuously on call to make sure that both the issues of the students in the lab, and the issues of the TAs were resolved and sometimes filled in for TAs labs when they were not available. After each meeting every week, I would set up the labs for the upcoming weeks. Show less
