  I designed a proposal for a fully-funded applied research project focused on food history and sustainability. I conducted oral history interviews with members of the Highland Descendant Council. Following the interviews, I created a community archive and website to promote local sustainable practices and land sovereignty. The next year, I led conversations with community partners and established a framework for food sustainability programming

  I manage 70 staff members and nine sections. I edit all articles, page designs, and digital content for website and biweekly print newspaper. Additionally, I coordinate internal finances, manage the website, and determine all major decisions for the paper. I designed a program to train and mentor over 50 new interns, adapting content to their interests. I planned weekly lessons about journalism and social events to facilitate community bonding. I communicated with contributors, editors, and administrators to produce news articles weekly. I edited and wrote articles and designed newspaper page layout.
