We assist seniors and their families through the complex matrix of challenges that spring up when they face the reality of diminished capacities and the need to change circumstances.Over 70 percent of seniors will likely need help in a care community or at-home care setting in their lifetime, according to industry studies. The lack of foreknowledge can lead to some very undesirable outcomes. Education and working with trustworthy professionals can improve seniors’ conditions and quality of life.When seniors and their families need professional support to plan a transition from their home to another setting, we provide guidance, referrals to vetted professionals, education, services coordination, and construct a transition plan. Next, if the seniors and their family consent, we offer real estate brokerage, financial resources, project management, and whatever else is necessary to complete that plan promptly without further effort or stress by the seniors or their families. The financial resources we offer include loans for pre-transaction and transition expenses. Pre-transaction expenses include home repairs, cleaning, personal property disposition, septic and well inspections, etc. Transition expenses include moving costs, assessment fees, private pay rent for independent and assisted living communities, and related costs. Loans for these expenses rely on determining the value of any real estate sale involved, which is the principal source of repayment.
