      Front Desk Receptionist

During this period I was in charge of the front desk, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, keeping diaries and arranging appointments, liaising with staff in other departments and with external contact and various other administration duties. This line of work required a very good standard of customer service and seriously tested my time management skills. Both are areas I am very confident in, hence why I was trusted and appointed to the post.

      Mar 2013 - Jun 2017
      Customer assistant/Assistant Team Leader

Starting off as a casual partner and shelf filler, I was quickly trained in other departments of the store, namely section management and stock management systems. This was due to my willingness to do more and the speed of my familiarisation with the practices in this enterprise. I was frequently trusted with management duties, whereby I coordinated the smooth operation of my section and its personnel; I also created reports for, and regularly corresponded with other customer assistants and Section Managers. The Special Requirements Team is in charge of numerous pre and post academic examination processes. The extremely large influx of applications and queries, has made me confident in my capability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining high standards.Due to our procedures overlapping with other team’s duties, my post required constant interactions with different levels of management and other teams within the enterprise. My eagerness to excel made me stand out, allowing me to be trusted to take charge of the team I worked with.Being a fast learner I quickly became a trusted point of contact for staksholders, making it my priority to specialise and be confident when dealing with issues.
