  The Catholic Bishops of Tanzania own Catholic University College of Mbeya (CUCoM), a constituent college of St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) (Tanzania Episcopal Conference-TEC). Its main campus is in Mwanza, Northern Tanzania, a port city on the beaches of Lake Victoria. Following its idea of reaching out to and providing educational services to underprivileged populations in regions where such individuals may be found, it expanded its Colleges and Centres throughout Tanzania, including the Mbeya Region.I worked as a tutorial assistant for Diploma students, teaching computer science subjects such as programming principles, introduction to algorithms and data structures, mathematics foundation for computer science, and computer networks. Along with teaching, I worked as a Faculty Examination Officer, organizing examination operations in the FBA faculty, and I also engaged in various ICT chores at the university.I taught for six semesters in a row, educating over 400 students who successfully earned adequate knowledge to move on to a bachelor's degree. I was also part of the team that reviewed and built curriculums for ICT studies. For almost a year, I oversaw faculty examination processes, and I was part of a team that designed and implemented an ID system for both students and university personnel using Laravel. Show less
