  My goal for this site is to share the lessons I've learned in 27 years in abstinence-based recovery. Some of those lessons were easy. Some were difficult and painful, but that is life and recovery. I will always share uplifting quotes in my articles. Many of these are by authors in recovery; others are not, and that doesn't matter at all.
