      Working as an Engineering Cadet with Qatar Gas Transport Company(Nakilat) on-board World's Largest LNG ships, enriching my knowledge as a potential engineer on-board.I was one of 4 Engineering Cadets selected from Pakistan by Shell Ship Management Limited UK in 2023 for Nakilat.I have participated in all the maintenance work done in engine room operations, Life-boat operations, bunkering of oil at sea and completed my training requirements as per the Engineer Training Record Book provided by Shell Ship Management Limited.I have travelled to 9 different countries and sailed with multinational crew members while exhibiting a happy professional understanding with all of them.I did two training ships namely LNG/C Al Kharaitiyat Q-Flex and LNG/C Al Mafyar Q-Max.       As a Junior Engineer on-board the World's Largest LNG Ship ~ LNG/C Mekaines Q-Max, I am responsible for assisting senior engineers in the operation, maintenance, and safety management of the engine room and onboard machinery. This role serves as a probationary period for transitioning into a full-fledged Fourth Engineer Officer. Key Responsibilities: - Watchkeeping & Operations: Maintain an engine room watch, monitor propulsion systems, generators, and auxiliary machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operations. - Routine Maintenance: Perform inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on machinery and equipment. - Assisting Senior Engineers: Support senior engineering staff in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting LNG vessel systems. - Safety & Emergency Response: Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and emergency protocols, responding to breakdowns, leaks, and fires as required. - Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate entries in official records, including the Engine Log Book, Oil Record Book, and Engine Room Movement Book. - Duty Rounds & Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of machinery spaces, complete full rounds after the engine room is manned, and report any abnormalities to the Chief Engineer. - Communication & Coordination: Report critical issues to the Chief Engineer, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to company policies and industry regulations. - Training & Development: Continuously enhance skills through structured learning, professional development programs, and hands-on experience.
