  During my time as a project worker, I supported individuals in homelessness. I engaged in intensive key-working supports with my key clients in support of their diverse and complex support needs. This included advocacy in relation to housing, addiction supports, mental health supports, human rights, physical health supports etc. I completed individual risk assessments with each individual and implemented harm reduction techniques where needed to.ensure the safety of the participants was maintained irrespective of their ongoing issues with substance use, self harm, suicidal ideation etc. I tailored support plans for each individual using a person centred approach. I adhered to the National Quality Standards Framework for Homeless services in Ireland and ensured a high level of service provision was maintained to an exceptional quality. I worked as part of a team of other project workers, team leaders and managers and worked collectively towards supporting the individuals accessing our service. I attended important appointments with individuals such as house viewings, mental health appointments, GP appointments and Social Work appointments re:access to their children. I ensured that the day to day needs of the client group were met and supported them around activities of daily living. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working as a project worker with PMVT. Show less
