      AIESEC in Leuven has the perfect organisational culture to motivate people and to give them opportunities to grow. Even if it seems very scary.That is why, after only 6 months of membership, I applied to become Vice President Marketing and University Relations. And I am very proud and happy that I succeeded. My responsibilities were;1) Working closely with the President of AIESEC in Leuven and the other members of the Executive Board. Defining goals and strategies together for the coming periods. 2) Leading and motivating my own team.3) Establishing University Relations by contacting the colleges and universities in Leuven to see if a partnership is possible. For example by offering AIESEC projects abroad as credited internships. 4) Leading the marketing part of the organisation in order to have more members and volunteers. We managed the social media channels, organised activations and info sessions and optimised the AIESEC in Leuven branding. Visa mindre

I did not only have the opportunity to implement my school learnings to a real-life job but by doing my internship in Paris, I could also improve my French.       As a final assignment for the Belgian Advertising School, the intention is for the entire group of students to set up a pop-up agency. We made our business model, did our branding, looked for clients and worked our asses off. For 6 weeks straight, we led different projects, gave strategic and creative workshops and did all-round communication assignments for our clients (including Thomas More, Acerta and KRC Genk).My two main responsibilities were; 1) Planning, making sure that everything was planned on time and that everyone's time was used as efficiently as possible. 2) Finance, I helped set up our pricing model, reviewed budgets, tracked our financial progress and did the final invoicing. To say that I have learned a lot in this short period is an understatement! I broadened my knowledge by doing things I initially didn't know much about, but I simply had a great time while doing it.       I was invited to join my client’s marketing team for a couple of months during the maternity leave of one of their employees. This opportunity allowed me to experience the client side of the advertising world. One of my main responsibilities involved working on the saving actions typically organized within the supermarket (e.g. Lego, Minions, Bialetti...). Additionally, I contributed to the development of the wine brochure and assisted with various smaller tasks.
