  The project is entitled "Customizing Sarbanes & Oxley Act for HR Department Processes: Documentation & Improvement." It aims to develop and Improve HR Management Process using IE tools. ---Process improvement and documentation using Industrial Engineering tools in order to customize one department (HR department) processes to fit the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Act. SOX requires all financial reports to the management to include an Internal Control Report (ICR) that will preserve internal auditing and maintain organization efficiency and quality. ICR is delivered by having internal control structure (process mapping), and an assessment by management of the effectiveness of the control structure (key control test scripts). Tasks and deliverables as follow: – Evaluate and document current processes and operational designs– Define authorities to ensure the process knowledge transfer among its users – Review and evaluate internal policy and procedures associated with existing and new services and operations – Identify key controls per process and evaluate their potential risks through developing a Risk Control Management (RCM) Model. – Design and customize Key Control Test Script for each process – Conduct internal audit and review to assess processes compliance and test failure – Investigate process gaps and utilized resources and suggest improvements Show less
