  The social media intern for CEHC will be responsible for updating the social media efforts for the College and continued development of a social media plan. I create multiple daily postings including promoting events, highlighting faculty, staff, and current students, highlighting alumni, and highlighting newly admitted students. I am also responsible for highlighting faculty and staff in the news and instances where the CEHC department is in the news. I also create emergency postings to get correct information out in the event of an emergency on campus. I am responsible for the Social Media Strategy by developing and executing a social media plan to align with the CEHC department's goals and objectives. Show less The Hack-IoT Lab performs applied, multidisciplinary, and innovative security and privacy research on the Internet of Things (IoT) connected devices, which form part of a complex ecosystem of data and control systems. The laboratory also researches protocols and policies for improving the security of IoT devices more generally.While working at HackIoT lab, interns can hone their research and analytical skills through hands-on experiences. While each project will vary, students will primarily be involved in Cybersecurity and Privacy research. Research interns in Hack-IoT Lab will perform impactful research that enhances people, nations, and organizations' security and privacy posture. Interns will investigate and assess the security and privacy of IoT hardware, software, and the all-important nexus between them. Interns will also compile literature reviews and be involved in activities such as researching security vulnerabilities in IoT devices; Researching cybersecurity trends (e.g., current attack trends); Conducting Cybersecurity Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA); Conducting Penetration Testing; Identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities; Assessing hardware and software analysis tools; Participating in Cybersecurity Education and Awareness programs; and Other – Supporting the lab current research and project tasks.
