  During my years of service at the Pantex facility I have assumed increasing levels of responsibility, beginning within the Security Division I spent 8 out of 10 ½ years involved in the initial start-up of the S.W.A.T. program, attained and maintained a position as team leader for approximately 3 years before completion of an Associate in Science (Engineering) degree which provided me an opportunity to advance my career. I applied for and was selected to be a Radiological Health Technician and remained in that role for 15 years where I achieved a certification with the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists (NRRPT) through 2015 and plan to maintain for the future. I was provided another opportunity to further my education and I completed a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering which in turn provided opportunities to advance my career. I applied for and was selected to be a Section Manager for two Metrology Laboratories starting in September 2006 with responsibilities at times as acting Department Manager. I am responsible for performing my assigned duties in strict compliance with all safety, security, and quality requirements. Show less
