      In the Fall of 2019, I participated in a study abroad program in Copenhagen that hosts U.S. university students with superior academic talent. I was accepted into the core course, Prostitution and the Sex Trade in Europe, and we would meet for the semester as a class, and then travel together twice to a location of importance for our topic of study. In all locations, we talked to various law enforcement officials, non-governmental organizations, city planners, social workers, and sex workers. These first-hand experiences allowed us to form opinions regarding the legality of sex work, which was demonstrated through our final assignment, which was to write a letter of recommendation to the Danish government on their sex work policy.
