  Grown, maintained, and collected data on experimental InVigor Canola plots over 3 consecutive years of 4-5-month summer work terms.Operated small-plot machinery over the course of the growing season (cultivating, seeding, spraying, swathing, harvesting). Completed data entry on plots regarding plant density, vigor, flowering, height, and maturity. Applied pesticides to control weeds, disease, and insects when required. Worked in a 2-9 person team to efficiently complete seasonal tasks. Trained students in equipment operation and data collection, and delegated appropriate tasks. Managed up to 8 casual laborers during harvest season and motivated individuals during challenging conditions.   Oversaw the laboratory component of the courses AGRI 1500, AGRI 1600, PLNT 0410, and PLNT 4270 in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.
