  Job scope: Doing Jar Test and consultation on raw water, boiler water, cooling tower and waste water treatment. Travelling alone to the whole Sabah area for water treatment purpose and selling to new customers. Responsible to maintain the rapport with the customers and to attend the customer complaints'. .Raw Water Treatment: Knowledge in chemical dosage calculation, water sampling. External treatment such as Sand Filter, Clarifier, Flow rate, the usage of Alum, soda ash, PAC, flocculant, coagulation and polymer. Have knowledge in mostly WHO analysis parameters. Doing few parameters testing in raw water, pH , total alkalinity, total hardness, iron, silica, and total dissolved solid, chloride, etc.Boiler Water Treatment: Knowledge in boiler operation and structure and knowledge in external treatment such as softener, reverse osmosis, deaerator, demineralizer, ion exchange vessel. Testing of few parameters in the boiler water, pH , total alkalinity, total hardness, total dissolved solid, chloride, iron, silica, sulfite, phosphate, hydrate alkalinity.Cooling Water Treatment: Knowledge in Cooling water system, closed loop, open loop, bacteria count, few parameters testing.Waste Water Treatment: Knowledge in waste water treatment system used by palm oil mills such as the ponding system, Sequential batch reactor, polishing plant, clarifier, the usage of polymer and anaerobic and aerobic bacteria in pond system. Overall, I was doing consultation for the water treatment side for all the mills and refinery which were treated by my previous company and doing sales by meeting current and new customers to propose new water treatment programs. Presenting Experience: I was responsible to teach/brief the customers' professionals and non-executive level everything related to water chemistry/quality by organizing a talk/presentation at their mill/estates.   To ensure the quality of intermediate and finished products adhere to the company specification. Including pulp and paper quality.Pulp quality: Monitoring the chip quality for the pulp production before it goes to the digester for cooking. The White Liquor which is used for cooking is also monitored to ensure adequate cooking. After cooking, the pulp will undergo a series of washing and bleaching to ensure the pulp achieved the specified brightness before going to the Paper Machine. I was also responsible to establish the testing method for the Pulp Mill intermediate product quality.Paper Quality: After the pulp is bleached to the desired brightness, the pulp will be beaten to achieve the specified properties before going to the Paper Machine. My job is to know the chemistry, the quality, and the properties for the paper produced in the Paper Machine.Finishing House: After the paper is produced, it will be cut and packed as per customers' request. My job is to ensure the finished paper is in good quality.Laboratory Equipments: Taking care of two laboratories, the Pulp Lab and the Dry End Lab (Paper) and in-charge of calibrating and maintaining the equipments while staying within the department's yearly budget.Overall, my job is to ensure the intermediate product, material and finished product quality is in good condition while ensuring the manpower for testing, checking, and quality control from pulp production to paper production is adequate. All while maintaining the Pulp Lab and the Dry End Lab equipments and reagents. Auditing Experiences: Chosen as my department representative for OSHAS 18001 as the internal auditor which involves developing the HIRARC for most of the department activities. I'm also responsible to maintain the ISO 9001:2008 (now 9001:2015) and have passed the examination for ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor Course.
